Dog Daycare Attendant Job Description

Position Summary

As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you'll be the heart and soul of our canine care teamensuring every pup enjoys a safe, clean, and fun environment while their humans are away. You'll supervise playgroups, monitor behavior, and provide basic care and enrichment activities to keep tails wagging all day long.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise dogs during playtime to ensure safe interactions and prevent conflicts

• Monitor individual dog behavior and report any concerns to management

• Feed, water, and administer medications as directed

• Clean and disinfect kennels, play areas, and feeding stations

• Provide basic grooming (bathing, brushing) as needed

• Maintain accurate records of feeding, medications, and attendance

• Greet pet parents, answer questions, and provide updates on their dogs

• Assist with dog training or enrichment activities when requested

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Prior experience in animal care, shelter work, or dog daycare is a plus

• Familiarity with dog breeds and canine behavior

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be comfortable working weekends and holidays
