**New Starting Wage of $17.00 / hour!**

**No CDL no problem. We will train you to get your class C - CDL.**

First Transit Operators provide transit van transportation in the McHenry County service area. As a Bus Operator you will provide our clients with the freedom and independence of reliable, safe transportation. If you love helping people and driving come work for us!

First Transit Drivers provide essential transportation within our local communities. Each day our drivers transport individuals to important locations within McHenry County. As a Driver you would provide our clients with the freedom and independence of reliable, safe transportation. Were immediately hiring to offer the employment experience you desire and the flexibility you need.

**Youll be responsible for:**

* Safely transporting passengers in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the service area

* Assisting in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and properly secure wheelchairs and scooters

**We want you to drive with us, if you:**

* Have good verbal communication skills

* Are at least 21 years old

* Have held a valid drivers license for at least 5 years

* Please note all applicants are subject to a drug test, and physical
