Job Description Quality Assurance Associate - Chemical Ingredients Manufacturer - Location: Greater Richmond Region | On-site | Competitive Compensation + Benefits The Richmond Group USA has partnered with a chemical ingredients manufacturer in the Greater Richmond Region to recruit for a junior Quality Associate . This role will support quality systems and compliance efforts by performing routine inspections and testing of raw materials and finished goods. This role will have a high level of ownership in maintaining and improving quality systems in a fast-paced, GMP compliant environment. The ideal candidate is a junior or entry level quality professional with a degree in sciences discipline and either a year of pharmaceutical, chemical, or biotech industry experience or equivalent coop or internship experience in a similar setting. Key Responsibilities Support Quality Management team and Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure alignment with FDA / cGMP standards and regulatory requirements across all operations Assist on quality assurance initiatives and cross-functional collaboration Provide documentation support and assist in preparing for regulatory and customer audits, and supporting supplier/vendor qualification and inspection readiness. Analyze and report quality performance metrics Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Sciences or related discipline is required. 1+ years in regulated process environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, or specialty chemicals preferred). Some exposure to FDA regulations or similar quality and compliance standards Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
