Job Description

A Chicago-based elementary school is seeking 3-4 licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a contract position running from August 18, 2025, through June 2, 2026. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities within early childhood through middle school settings, providing services via teletherapy and in-person formats.

Candidates will work with caseloads consisting of early childhood through 8th-grade students, with a manageable workload not exceeding 60 students. The position involves supporting speech and language development across a diverse student population, including delivery of comprehensive evaluations and tailored therapy plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized speech-language therapy goals for students
• Deliver therapy services both via teletherapy and direct in-person sessions
• Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records of student services and progress monitoring
• Adhere to all regulatory, licensing, and school requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
• Illinois teaching certification
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Prior experience in school settings preferred but not required
• Comfort working with early childhood through middle school age groups
• Ability to deliver teletherapy services effectively
