FOX5, KVVU Las Vegas, is looking for an experienced assignment desk professional. This position requires at least 3 years of assignment desk experience in a television newsroom.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Effective daily planning and deployment of all news department field resources, Fast and effective response during breaking news situations, Ability to conceive and put together coverage plans for major events, Actively contribute to daily assignment discussions with quality enterprise and coverage ideas.
Qualifications/Requirements: An ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as an assignment editor or assignment manager in a television newsroom.
