Job Posting Summary **$1,000 Sign on Bonus** Baptist Health is seeking to add an energetic and dynamic Medical Assistant II for our Baptist MD Anderson Supportive Care Clinic, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity with a 40 hour a week commitment.
Nationally recognized certification in Medical Assisting required.
This role is supporting our outpatient palliative care clinic where you will be able to build meaningful, ongoing relationships with patients and families while providing compassionate, patient-centered care focused on symptom management, care coordination, and improving quality of life throughout the care journey. Responsibilities of a Medical Assistant include: -Providing nursing assistance to the physician and APP
-Obtaining vital signs, weights, and heights
-Greeting and chaperoning patients as needed during medical visits
-Documenting in the medical record as indicated per role
-Additional responsibilities on an as needed basis
