Description

Principal (Essential) Duties

Assist in the setup and teardown of community relations projects and special events, including availability for night and weekend events.
Write and revise web content according to SEO best practices and provide basic website support.
Write and publish various types of content such as web bios, e-newsletters, press releases, and other articles.
Assist in database maintenance and development tasks as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Proficiency in writing and editing with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and comfortable engaging with public at events.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends for events.
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in marketing, communications, or related field preferred .
Travel at least 10% to sites beyond the corporate office.
Ability to perform moderate lifting as required, exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
