We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. As an Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of various events, from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences and social gatherings. Your organizational skills and passion for delivering exceptional experiences will contribute significantly to the success of our events.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and execution of events, including logistics, scheduling, and vendor management.
Coordinate communication with clients, ensuring their requirements and preferences are met.
Help prepare event materials such as invitations, programs, and signage, while ensuring all details are accurate and timely.
Support the set-up and take-down of events, ensuring all equipment and decorations are in place.
Manage on-site registration and guest check-in processes to ensure a smooth experience for attendees.
Assist in monitoring event budgets, keeping track of expenses, and providing detailed reports to the Events Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in event planning or coordination is a plus but not required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and vendors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of event management software.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
