Job Description We are seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to serve as a senior technical expert in the development and review of international standards (standards and recommended practices (SARPs)) as part of a team supporting the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Information Management Panel (IMP). This position includes but is not limited to: Providing technical expertise in developing oversight training materials for the global aviation community, promoting best practices in operations and oversight. Offering technical expertise and leadership in developing a semantic technology-based solution to enhance risk transparency, enabling access and linkage to relevant safety information. Leading collaboration between business SMEs and technical teams to ensure the development and understanding of business requirements related to semantic technologies, which are designed to allow users to benefit from the precision and recall of computers while interacting in a human-like manner with information. Qualifications Experience working with metadata, ontology, and data organization. Knowledge of ICAO, SARPs, and IMP. Knowledge of FAA standards and regulations.
