Overview Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced AP Accountant to join their client on a temp-to-hire basis. This position is 100% onsite in Santa Clara and offers the opportunity to work within a medium-sized company environment. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical background to manage various accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial records. Base pay range $28.00/hr - $33.00/hr Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including reconciliation and vendor inquiries. Handle expense reports and ACH bank transactions. Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. Analyze vendor data to identify trends and resolve discrepancies. Utilize QuickBooks desktop for accounting tasks and ensure accurate data entry. Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and support financial operations. Prepare and review financial reports to assist in decision-making processes. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in an accounts payable role, preferably in a medium-sized company. Proficiency in QuickBooks desktop and intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and V Look Ups. Strong analytical skills with the ability to dig into vendor data and identify patterns. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Required Work Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Benefits Details regarding benefits will be provided by the client upon hire. Additional Details This position is open due to a career change by the previous employee, and the company is looking for a committed individual to fill the role. The volume of work is low, with up to five transactions a day, but requires someone who is detail-oriented and capable of handling a lot of data and reconciliation tasks.
