About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team on a part-time basis to support our Accounts Payable and Vehicle Fleet operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and logistics, and who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Essential Functions

• Accounts Payable:
  • Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system accurately and timely
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Match purchase orders to accounts payable invoices
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks related to AP
• Fleet Administration:
  • Process DMV paperwork for vehicle registrations and renewals
  • Communicate with fleet managers to reconcile vehicle location and group assignments
  • Update internal and external fleet systems with current vehicle data
  • Mail out vehicle registrations and gas cards to drivers
  • Maintain organized records of fleet documentation

About You:

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent required.
• Prior experiences in accounts payable and/or fleet administration preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.), and data entry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organization and reasoning skills.
• Proactive and positive attitude, showing initiative and the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks.

Physical Demands

• Frequently works outdoors on uneven surfaces.
• May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• May be required to stoop, bend, and crouch.

Work Environment

• Works in a climate controlled environment 50% of the time.
• May work in varying weather conditions: hot, cold, and wet conditions.
• Frequently works in areas with large industrial equipment subject to high noise levels.
• May occasionally work in areas with hazardous chemicals.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate $24.00-$28.00 / hour (Non-Exempt)
  • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
